Rain Garden & Native Landscape Design Workshop
Andy will give a 10-15 minute presentation on the basics of rain garden and native landscape design, installation and maintenance including keys for appropriate plant selection. This brief talk will be followed by a workshop, where several experienced landscape architects and horticulturalists will float from table to table helping you to design your own garden project. Bring a drawing/map with measurements (such as a plat of survey of your yard or a hand-drawn sketch), an aerial photograph and some color photos of your project site and these professional designers will assist you in locating and sizing your garden, as well as help you develop a successful native planting list for your particular soil & sunlight conditions. You can go home ready to build, as most of the plants suggested will be available for purchase from the Pizzo Native Plant Nursery during the party!
