As General Manager of the Southern Territory for Pizzo & Associates, Ltd. Nick’s duties at Pizzo include client relations, site inventory/analysis, restoration planning, contract administration, project budgeting, plan implementation, and project management. Entering the landscape construction industry in 2000, Nick joined Pizzo & Associates in 2008 as a project ecologist & registered landscape architect with an extensive background in landscape planning/design and construction management including commercial/retail landscapes, subdivision development, community park planning and development, residential estate planning and ecological restoration. Nick is responsible for periodically operating out of the Pizzo office located in Three Oaks, Michigan.

Antioch Marketplace, Antioch, IL – Retail Center
Lead Landscape Architect for the proposed 90 acre retail development adjacent to both residential housing and pristine Silver Lake. The site design incorporates a number of BMP’s including bio-swales and native landscape buffers surrounding a naturalized detention basin and stormwater runoff treatment wetland. 2006-2008

Huntington Woods, Hoffman Estates, IL – Business Campus
Lead Landscape Architect for the 70 acre Industrial/Technology Campus. Design challenges included preservation of 600+ existing trees through thorough planning, innovative landscape design and preservation measures. 2007-2008
