Eric entered the field of restoration ecology in 1999 and joined Pizzo & Associates, Ltd. in 2002. He has extensive experience in restoration ecology and professional prescribed fire. At Pizzo he is a member of the Management Team and his responsibilities include advising project ecologists on natural areas planning an bidding issues, site assessment, field personnel training, and acting as burn leader. He manages over 100 natural area projects annually ranging from clearing and installation to prescribed fire. He manages and oversees up to 35 employees daily and organizes both personnel and equipment for timely completion of the company’s workload. Eric is also responsible for regular communication with clients and/or project contacts, communicating schedule and planned activities for the site.
